The Coastal Empire and Low Country - also known as Coastal Georgia and Southern South Carolina to the uninitiated.

This is probably one of my favorite places on earth. This is where it feels most like home to me. I come here and feel immediately comforted. They say you can never go home again.. but you can certainly visit.

I spent my college years here, so it holds a huge place in my heart. Everything is still as vivid to me as the first time I ever came here. From the marshes that go on for miles to the streets and squares lined with oak trees, this place is unforgettable. Nowhere else can you spend hours sipping a sweet tea and eating oysters, all while listening to Jimmy Buffet by the water.
